Budding scientists love this hands-on opportunity to learn about the magic of metamorphosis! Over the course of 3 weeks, families watch caterpillars transform to chrysalides, then to Painted Lady butterflies inside the pop-up 12″ mesh habitat. After observation, release butterflies into the garden as pollinators! Kit also includes a feeding dropper, instructions, and a STEM Butterfly Observation Journal filled with fun learning activities. Live insects not included; simply redeem the included voucher to receive baby caterpillars, food, and a chrysalis holding log via mail. It’s a unique gift!
